Course Meal at Hide Yamamoto, City of Dreams
8:43 PM
So before 2016 has come to its end, Hubby brought me to City of Dreams as our last date of the year. Among those fancy restaurants inside, we decided to try Hide Yamamoto located at the Upper Ground Level. Hide Yamamoto is a multi-concept fine dining experience that offers different menus such as sushi, teppanyaki, robatayaki and ramen by Chef Hide Yamamoto, one of 2010’s Global Award recipients.
The menu is displayed outside so guests can check first before they get inside the restaurant.
The place is modern and elegant at the same time. I think it is enough to accommodate as many as 40 guests. As we walked in, we were assisted promptly to our seats.

We ordered a lunch course meal for P1500 (VAT ex) and drinks. After few minutes, our first course and drinks were served.

Moving on to the appetizers, Hubby ordered assorted sashimi while I got myself the three kinds of appetizers since I preferred cooked meals.

Match Roll with Fruits |
We capped off our course meal with a delectable sweet, matcha roll with fruits. I'm not a fan of matcha (because I don't like the herbal kind of taste) but boy, you should definitely try this. I was surprised hubby also liked it despite the fact that he's not really into sweets. That's how good this matcha roll was. It has texture, the filling has the right sweetness and not much of an herbal taste. The fruits were also served fresh and taste sweet.
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff is very attentive that he removed our plates right after we finished and served the next course promptly. The ambiance is relaxing and perfect for meetings and family gathering. The food is excellent and indeed worth every cent.

ReplyDeleteI really appreciate those restaurants na may menu display, at least you can browse the food and price. Minsan kasi mukhang mahal yung restaurant pero budget friendly naman ang meals. This restaurant is not cheap, glad to know that it is worth every cent.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an awesome place to get good food. It's nice that know that everything they served tasted great. I wouldn't mind checking this place out! Thanks for sharing your experience.
ReplyDeleteoh man, at looks really good. i will have to check them out when i'm in the area.
ReplyDeleteSeems really an enjoyable date. It feels good to go out sometimes minus your little one and spend some real quality time with the husband. It makes the relationship longer and sweeter just like the dessert youve had. Ehehe. I am not fond of macha as well but I need to try that roll. So intruiging.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about Japanese food is its authentic taste and it never fails to satisfy talaga. Pareho tayo, minsan pagka-serve ng food parang nadidisappoint ako sa amount of serving kasi feeling ko hindi ako mabubusog. Pero madalas takaw tingin ako hahaha! How I miss tempura. And ramen! Yun talaga ang una kong naiisip when it comes to Japanese cuisines :)
ReplyDeleteI love restaurants that have menu outside! More restos should do this! I don't know but I'm not really into Japanese foods, specially sushis, Berlin can attest to that when we were in RamenCool, hehe. Speaking of date, yeeee! That's a great way to end the year.together with the one you love! ♥
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I love visiting new restaurants. This one looks amazing. If I am ever in the area, I will check it out.
